You wouldn’t think there’s much Rutland, VT could learn from Worcester when it comes to selling water. But a Rutland Herald article from Monday (followed up by an article in the Boston Globe), detailing how Rutland officials want to find a company to bottle and sell water from their reservoir, points right to the Wo as a main inspiration.
“For those who find the idea hard to swallow, look no farther than Worcester, Mass., an old industrial city and second-largest city in the Commonwealth. Worcester is home to Polar Beverages, which uses municipal water in that community for some of its beverages,” the Herald article reads.
