Former World Champion Jose Antonio Rivera has long had his sights set on Hollywood, auditioning for multiple roles and once eying a slot on ESPN’s The Contender.
His latest role will be playing boxer Gilberto Brown in the Mark Wahlberg/Christian Bale biopic The Fighter, currently filming in Lowell. The movie focuses on Lowell’s “Irish” Mickey Ward and half-brother Dicky Eklund.
