The arraignment for Leslie Schuler, accused of beating his son to death on Father’s Day, was an eventful one.
Within two minutes of the arraignment starting, a female family member of victim Nathaniel Turner screamed, calling Schuler a “son of a bitch” and a “fucker” before being escorted out by other members of the gallery and court officers.
Throughout the rest of the hearing, there was weeping from the audience.
Schuler pleaded not guilty; a trial is set for July 29th.
