Just a couple quick announcements for those who might be interested:
If you like political fundraisers, then seize the day. Tonight Joff Smith kicks off his campaign at El Basha (the one on Park Avenue) from 6-8. Not to be outdone, Margot Barnet has hers same date, same time at the Tatnuck Legion Post (570 Mill Street). Saturday at 2:30 Deval Patrick and Tim Murray will be at the Worcester State College gymnasium for a rally, and next Saturday the Massachusetts GOP convention takes over the DCU Center (admittance for the general public is $25).
On Thursday (tax day) the Worcester Tea Party will rally at Lincoln Square from 4-6. Stand Up to Stupid will be there too, counter-protesting. A call has been put out for local anti-capitalists to rally there as well.
