Like his former teacher Gary Rosen, rumor is at-large City Councilor Rick Rushton is considering changing things up and running for School Committee this fall.
Rushton says any decision about what he’s running for will come in a couple weeks.

I would accuse anyone going from City Council to School Committee to be angling for running for State Rep or Senator. I don’t know of any seats that won’t be occuppied by an incumbent running for re-election though.
What’s your thought, Jim? They aren’t (as Scott pointed out in his cover story last week) going to get more press on School Committee.
