CSX’s Environmental Notification Form now online, ready for public comment

Posted by Jeremy Shulkin

CSX’s Environmental Notification Form, which details their proposed freight yard expansion in Worcester, has been submitted to the state’s Executive Office of Environmental and Energy Affairs. The EOEEA will look at their report and decide if what CSX has proposed is cause for a more thorough and lengthy Environmental Impact Study.

Read the report here.

This is an important period, especially for the project’s backers and detractors, as it’s now open for public comment. Read through the ENF and make a public comment following these instructions. The commenting period closes Dec. 13.

H/t to wstr.com/Tracy Novick for the links. They’ve got a nice little write up over there too.

We intend to pollute the environment, increase the truck traffic, take some property, close a few streets, have a hazardous spill or two, get the terrorist bomb containing containers away from Boston, make millions on the sale of our Allston property, and there’s nothing you can do about it because you’ve sold your souls to CSX. And while your at it “Build us an airport access road”!
