Lew vs. Frank, round three

Posted by Jeremy Shulkin

Yesterday’s Telegram article expanded on a previous Daily Worcesteria post regarding the brewing Lew Evangelidis/Frank Beshai feud, but tensions continue to escalate.

Last night, and again this morning Beshai sent out another press release, writing, “Please be advised that the response to my endorsement of Scot Bove for sheriff, by the campaign of Lew Evangelidis is completely erroneous and shameful.”

He goes on (put the [sic]’s where you will):

Lew had ask me for a meeting. As a courtesy I oblige him. When realizing that Lew had no idea what the Sheriffs office was about and him telling me he would figure out what to do after he got there. (which he admits in all of his literature and interviews). I realized that he, like most politicians was worried about Lew and not the voters and he would be dangerous as our next sheriff.

We’re waiting for a call back from Evangelidis’ camp.
