As we’ve already advertised, you’ll be able to grab a drink* with Tim McGourthy, the Director of Economic Development for the city (“Selling Worcester“, Feb. 18), and Christina Andreoli, the city’s Director of Communications (seemingly any story we’ve ever written), but you’ll also get to talk to City Councilor Joe Petty about all things Google (“Is Worcester Getting Enough Fiber?” in tomorrow’s paper) and Quite Nyce (half of the hip hop group RADIx) about an awesome show happening at the Lucky Dog on Friday night. Amy Levine will be there as well (“A Shot of the Great Whiskey Rebellion“, Feb. 25) and Hannah Salzman-Gubbay, this week’s cover girl, will stop by. Louie Despres, a local photographer who is releasing his book “Five Months” (profiled March 3) has also replied as “attending” on Facebook.
This is the best thing to happen to Thursday night since NBC started airing “Parks & Rec,” “Community,” “The Office” and “30 Rock” (none of which you will miss if you come to WoMag on Tap).
*Beers will not be $1, and we’re not buying them for you.
