Port of Worcester Tattoo was robbed early this morning, with over $5000 of equipment and belongings stolen.
Shop owner Tyler Green said he got a call early this morning after thieves allegedly tripped an alarm in the flea market next to his tattoo parlor after breaking in through his operation.
Reached this evening, Green said he had more than idea of who had his stuff. After a fellow tattoo artist heard of an individual trying to sell tattoo equipment this afternoon, Green drove to where the sales were reportedly going down, and ended up getting his camera back from an individual before getting in a physical argument with him over the missing stuff. While police were called, Green says they didn’t show up until after a crowd – including the person with his camera – had dispersed.
Green’s is the second shop in the past 18 months to be robbed; Unholy Grail had a major break-in last March.
