Gateway company gets DARPA contract

A WPI-affiliated Gateway Park based company has gotten a $570,000 government contract to research and develop tissue regeneration technology.  It’s the second stage of Department of Defense funding for CellThera, and the “CellThera/WPI team will try to reprogram and engineer cells to replace damaged skeletal muscle and to restore the normal function of that muscle.”

In other regeneration news, Wolverine Origins comes out in May.
