Tom Hoover loses another job

Former Worcester City Manager Tom Hoover’s ongoing attempt to find a new gig outside of his current position as Royal Oak, MI’s top dog has taken a new twist.  Hoover will be getting his wish and leaving Royal Oaks, albeit with no new job lined up and not on his terms.

After Hoover’s very public (and futile) application process for several administrators’ jobs in Florida failed, city officials approached Hoover with a separation proposal.

“I do have multiple applications out now and I will get more aggressive now,” Hoover told The Detroit News.
