Inauguration Day coverage

We’ll be around Worcester all day, covering theinauguration watching parties at several locales, including the sold-out Hanover Theatre.

This blog will be available as an open thread to post your thoughts and reactions throughout the day.

Also, we’ll be at City Council tonight.  Talk about anticlimatic.

(Did we say election?  We must be getting ahead of ourselves again.)

  1. Greetings from DC, where the nine-day fast to close Guantanamo (100dayscampaign.org) will end in about an hour at McPherson Square. Not expecting to see any of the Inauguration myself, but I’ll be hanging out near the route. At least one of my friends from Worcester has official tix to the event. Things are, as I’m sure you’ve seen on the news, busy around DC.

  2. Glad you’re there, Mike. I was also glad to hear such encouraging words from the new president about living up to our ideals!
