It’s a tradition for many Americans that whether you work in a newsroom or at home in a studio, a coffee break is simply required some days. The National Coffee Association of the United States celebrates 100 years by officially naming today National Coffee Break Day.
Coffee shops all around the country including ones in Seattle, WA, Denver Colorado and Brooklyn, NY are participating by giving away free, or for real cheap, coffee.
Local coffee shop Books and Beans in Southbridge, MA is taking part in the celebration as well. Visit Books and Beans today, mention their Twitter post about National Coffee Break Day and earn yourself a large coffee for only $1.
