In full view of the entire crowd at today’s CitySquare event downtown, construction workers poked a large hole through one of the panels on the side of the parking garage.
The Worcester Business Development Corporation may have taken this as a hint for their own event next Monday, when they will partially demolish the old Voke Building for their Gateway Park/New Garden Park venture. They’ll also start putting to use the $400,000 they received from the EPA for brownfield clean up.
After the long wait for CitySquare, it seems like the only way people will now take a developer seriously is once they actually start destroying things.
