At a 3:00 conference today at the police station, the local police union will endorse Jim McGovern for congress.
This is the same union that endorsed Scott Brown back in January as he went up against the state’s Attorney General, so their endorsement isn’t a gimme for Democrats.
At last count McGovern has five challengers on the Republican side, Brian Herr, Michael Stopa, Marty Lamb, Robert Delle and Robert Chipman, along with one Independent, Patrick Barron.
