This will be the last Worcester Mag on Tap related post for about a month, so bear with me.
Last night’s event brought a number of Worcester Mag staff down to the Hotel Vernon where we were joined by Nicole, local blogger extraordinaire; Mike Perotto, former City Councilor, potential D13 State Rep. and a subject in this week’s cover story; as well as some great Worcester Mag readers. Bob Largess, owner of the Hotel Vernon, told me that the steering wheel in the ship room is from the Civil War era and the compass attached to it dates back to 1738. Then he took everyone on a tour of the old speakeasy in the basement.
In short, it was great. Don’t fret if you missed it, though: the next one will be on Thursday, March 4 (at a new location).
