As we enter Monday, Worcester County is still digging out (unfreezing?) from last week’s ice storm. Schools are closed, shelters are open, and power is still out for thousands.
On Sunday night, electric companies from around the country fanned out across Worcester and surrounding towns, traveling in caravans to work sites. Officials say it could be days before service is returned to everyone.
