Should colleges serve liquor?

Some fun at this morning’s License Commission meeting, including a retired professor protesting allowing WPI and other colleges to serve alcohol at any time.
“That’s a philosophical question we’re not going to debate here,” said Commission Chairman Kevin O’Sullivan.
“Something is wrong with western culture,” said the retired prof, adding that universities and libations just don’t mix. He called the permissive culture “the fault of democracy… Hitler did the same thing.”
