Rumors are swirling that State Rep. John Fresolo has decided not to run for the Senate seat being vacated by Ed Augustus. Fresolo had been talking and meeting with pols for weeks, but the hot word today is that he decided sit this one out.
UPDATE: The only problem is, Fresolo says the rumors are bogus. Kind of.
“[That's] absolutely false. I’m definitely still considering all my options,” says Fresolo, adding that anyone who is spreading those rumors “obviously” doesn’t want him in the race.
There you go. Fresolo is still in, definitely maybe.
